Alex is a third year Economics major from Temple City, California. His career ambitions are to pursue opportunities in the audit/accounting field while also starting his own real estate development enterprise to provide more sustainable affordable housing to the community. This past summer, Alex interned at NetApp in the controller's department and will be an audit intern at Deloitte this June. In his free time, Alex enjoys taking photos, watching his favorite sports teams, and adding to his vinyl collection.

Anton Gutierrez is a sophomore from Sacramento, CA, intended on studying Business Administration. Last semester, as the NPO Consulting Project Manager, Anton learned a lot about event marketing and millennial-focused branding strategies while working with Cinema Napa Valley. Whenever he has the time, he enjoys playing the guitar, singing, photography, basketball, and most of all, filmmaking. As such, Anton hopes to pursue a career in both filmmaking and marketing to express his love for art and business.

After joining ABA as a Marketing Analyst, Joseph became ABA's Strategy Consulting Project Manager and Marketing Project Manager, working with clients including Adobe, and Ghirardelli. This past summer, Joseph interned at Venmo in San Francisco, program managing the Uber/Venmo marketing campaign while working in tandem with multiple agencies to develop marketing strategies and timelines. As such, Joseph hopes to pursue a career in marketing or brand consulting.

Amber is a sophomore from Walnut, CA and an intended double major in Business Administration and Political Science. Her ABA journey began her freshman year as a Media Technology Analyst, where she explored her passions for business and film alongside some of her closest college friends. Amber is extremely passionate about dance, music, community service, photography, painting, and travelling. After completing undergrad, she plans to further her love for reading, writing, and helping others by pursuing a career in law.

After joining ABA as a finance analyst, Cynthia became ABA’s Finance Project Manager and Strategy Consulting Project Manager, working with firms including Uber and Logitech. Despite growing up training to join an international ballet company, her ambitions turned towards Investment Banking and International Business. This past summer, Cynthia interned at a boutique investment bank in Beijing, advising private equity firms on exit solutions and preparing for an IPO, while also exploring what the ancient city has to offer on her days off.

Samuel is a junior from Diamond Bar studying Economics & Data Science. His ABA journey started his freshman year as a Social Committee Member, where he gained valuable experience in areas of event planning and outreaching. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, eating, talking about life, sleeping, and traveling. His career path focus is not determined, but wants to do something involving data analytics.

Kate Ba joined ABA in her first semester at Cal as a Strategy Consultant, working with Logitech’s global marketing executives in the B2B space. Now, she rejoins the team as the new Business Development Project Manager. Her growing repertoire encompasses visual arts, graphic design, data analytics, and public speaking. In the future, she plans to establish a career in consulting in order to utilize her passion for business to ideate strategic solutions to business challenges across the globe.

Elysia Gao is a freshman intending to major in Computer Science and Economics. She joined ABA as a strategy analyst, learning about B2B marketing and go-to-market strategy while consulting for Logitech. Growing up, she was primarily interested in STEM topics, becoming involved in math and robotics competitions, as well as materials science research. Because of these experiences, Elysia hopes to pursue a career in Data Science and Analytics to employ both business and technical skills.

Yaxin first joined ABA as an analyst on the Strategy Consulting team working with Adobe to better integrate Creative Cloud products into college campuses. After exploring and developing her quantitative interests on the Finance team, she hopes to pursue corporate finance in the tech or banking industries. This past summer, Yaxin interned at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco where she was fortunate enough to experience both the business and economic workings behind the organization leading monetary policy.

Nikhil Piska is a sophomore from Illinois pursuing a B.S in Business Administration and Economics. During his freshman year, Nikhil joined ABA's Marketing and Finance teams as an analyst. After his freshman year, Nikhil returned as a Finance Project manager where he lead a project with MapR Technologies and taught skills such as valuation, accounting, and financial modeling. Outside of clubs and academics, Nikhil enjoys hiking the fire trails behind campus, exploring new cuisines, traveling, and working out with friends. In regards to his post-graduate goals, Nikhil is looking to pursue a career in Investment Banking.

Before joining ABA, Dorcas didn’t know much about business. However, she has always loved thinking outside of the box, networking with people from all walks of life, and collaborating in team environments. As a Business Development analyst, she gained valuable experiences conducting market research and analyzing data while consulting for Credit Karma. Her childhood dream of becoming a lawyer motivates her to bring social justice into the business world. She is also crazy about traveling, cafe-hopping, running, and painting.

Upon her time serving as ABA's Strategy Consulting Project Manager and Non-Profit Organization Consulting Project Manager, Britney hopes to go into management and social impact consulting in the future. Mikayla O’Reggio is a sophomore from Los Angeles, CA, intent in studying Economics and Business Administration. During her time in ABA, Mikayla has gained experience in consulting for startups and conducting market research for non-profits such as the Napa Valley Film Festival. In her spare time, Mikayla enjoys dance, food photography, spending time with loved ones and volunteering. After Berkeley, Mikayla hopes to merge her passions of business and social impact by developing corporate social responsibility programs for technology companies in the Bay Area.

Bow Poopipathiranyakul is an international student from Bangkok, Thailand, intending to major in business administration. During her time as a Business Development Project Manager for Berkeley ABA in the Fall semester her sophomore year, Bow worked with Credit Karma to develop UI/UX-based growth strategies which will be implemented to the firm’s marketing funnel, a topic directly related to her career interest — growth marketing. Professional aspect aside, Bow has a passion for traveling, analog photography, skiing, and scuba diving. As much as she works hard during the weekdays, Bow takes her hobbies seriously during the weekends.

Derek Jiang is a current first year student from Hong Kong. His intended majors are Economics and Philosophy, the first of which led him to join ABA in Fall 2018 as a finance analyst. During that time, Derek helped conduct financial analysis for MapR and gained insights into market research and consulting. He is passionate about the aerospace industry and social responsibility; as such, his ultimate goals are to build a space mining company and to start his own non-profit organization. In his spare time, Derek enjoys playing video games and philosophizing with friends.
